windows 8.1 install black screen after restart

Asus a52f
gets to 100% install says its going to restart and shuts down and then the on light comes on and is a black screen any ideas?

Did you remove your CD or USB after it rebooted?

It's either of the two options
The system is booting into some other drive than the drive you installed the os on but in that case it'll ask you to "press any key."
Just remove the install disk and choose the drive you installed the os on.
If that doesn't help, try installing the os again.
Are you giving it sufficient time? Usually it's not a good idea to panic when something like this happens.
