Windows 8.1 Install by creating media?

I am running the Windows 8.1 upgrade assistant as we speak and I wish to move it onto an SSD with a new PC I will be building tomorrow. I will put it onto an USB and then move it to the SSD. My question is do I really need to use all of this http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows-8/a/install-windows-8-usb.htm
Or can I simply select Install by creating media when the option comes up and subsequently install it onto my new PC?
