Windows 8.1 Key

I'm not to sure if I can ask this but worth a shot, I'm wanting Windows 8 on my new computer I bought it of Amazon and doesn't come with any os installed. I don't have the money to buy a legit copy but I've managed to find a site that has legit keys for cheap If I download a copy of Windows 8 for nothing (pirate) but put in the key I have paid for will that work? Please and thanks
