Windows 8.1 MBR EFI

So i just built new pc today installed windows 7 but i want to try windows 8.1

I know the only thing GPT format offers is larger drivers however i have a 250GB samsung 850 evo

Now i would like to know can i install windows 8.1 in EFi Mode but with a MBR partition instead of GPT

Yeah. You can create a separate partition with the MBR partition and load Windows 8.1 on that.
