Hello!

Yesterday i bought my new monitor (Benq xl2411z 144hz) and everything worked fine until i started watching some tutorials how to optimise it. And i had to change to custom resolution and it didnt work (nvidia) i ended up with out of range. I couldnt do anything at all.. Now when i start my pc it just goes past windows logo and then shows "no signal detected'!

Things ive tried:
1.Refreshing pc's Windows drive
2.Complitely wiping out the drive where windows is installed on.
3.Changing to different ports(using dual link dvi)....

Also when i get into the safemode everything works fine, then i deleted the nvidia driver and i could acces normal windows( without safe mode )
but i have no drivers, when i try to reinstall the driver, screen just goes blank whilst installing the driver, and it displays "no signal detected"..

And i cant get into BIOS aswell, when i press f2 or f11 or DEL the screen just goes blank even though the monitor isnt in no signal mode.

I just have no clue what to do now, i really need to get this fixed.
Any suggestions?

EDIT 1. Ive tried different cables.. nothing. I think its something with my card (GTX 960)

Thanks!

hook back up you old monitor, if it works then it might be a problem with the monitor, could be something like selecting the wrong input in the menu system. If you have another computer, try hooking up the new monitor to it and see if it works.

You will not lose warranty by taking out the card. You could try another pci slot but if it's not 16X you GPU will run slower. If you have another card put it in the PC and hook up the monitor to see if it works, if it works then something might have happen to the card. Also download the latest driver from Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia site. Also the CD that came with the monitor, may so you install the software on the CD.
