[SOLVED] Windows 8.1 not getting updates

I keep getting messages saying that I have unsupported hardware. But if it was unsupported, how am I using that computer to be here now?

It means - your hardware is too modern for this old OS. Microsoft wants you to upgrade to windows 10.

Sweet~ Thank you for the workaround, it worked perfectly and my PC found the updates and is running so much faster now. It's like it was not using it's full speed before hand. Normal off to login time was like 5 min, which was fine, I had a hefty system, but I turned it on a moment ago, and including finishing the updates, it is to the point I can send this~ Thank you~

Not having that annoying pop up is a major plus too. ^^
