Windows 8.1 on intel(R) duo cpu e8400

I have a question.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to upgrade from windows 7 ultiamte 64 bit to windows 8.1 64 bit?
I am using my PC mainly for gaming.
My PC spect: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 DUO CPU E8400 @
3.00 GHz 3.00 GHz
RAM: 4GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System
Graphic card:ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB

Rather than buying Win 8.1 now, wait a few months (July/August), and upgrade to Win 10 for free.

You could do that , or if you want to upgrade right now , please do it. . I suggest windows 8.1 and i have seen a performance increase in my games and other functions after shifting from Win 7 to 8.1. You might be a little irritated with the start menu interface at first , but its a small price to pay
