So for the past few weeks I've been having a bit of a difficult problem at hand:
Whenever my PC boots up past the boot logo and onto the screen where the windows log in screen should occur, instead I just get a black screen that says DVI no signal then the computer hangs for around 15-20 more seconds and just shuts down.
Onto trying to boot into safe mode, I get a message saying windows could not complete update undoing changes and it restarts back into the loop, somehow. The only option of windows boot methods that works is the safe mode with command prompt. From there I can access control panel and different command commands (except chkdsk /r and /f which always tell me that my SSD is locked due to being used up by another volume...) <- if that helps figuring out the issue in anyway
Now before today, I was able to successfully boot into my PC after restarting through the loop 10s of times and magically I'd just be back on working great. The problem reoccurs on every restart which is EXTREMELY tedious.
Going back to what I said earlier about the windows not being able to complete the update, upon doing one of my windows updates it said windows is updating 30% then just restarts again and again and again eventually letting me back into the system. But this was way before this no signal problem occurred. When my computer DOES turn on, however, it works like a charm which leads me to think that this problem isn't anything driver or hardware related but rather a fault in windows. Also, I've never seen anyone else have a problem similar so any advice about where to go next would be a big help. Thanks.
