Windows 8.1 Retail

So I want to get a i7 4770K to replace my Amd FX 8150 I have at this moment. I know when switching from Amd to Intel or vice versa that you have to wipe your hard drive. So I have Windows 8.1 retail with both 64 bit and 32 bit discs. My question is if i can use the key to install Windows again for the 2nd time on the drive once its wiped. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the retail version of windows can be installed more than once and on different hardware. You may have to call Microsoft up when installing though.
