My computer has a really slow boot time with windows 8.1, from pressing the on button on my pc it normally takes about 5 minutes for the computer to become usable as the disk usage sits at 100% for that time.
I have disabled all but the vital Microsoft services at start up, disabled superfetch, background intelligent transfer & windows search as-well as completely removing the page file on the boot drive to no avail. I know its not the boot drive as crystal disk shows the drive is in good shape, and only yesterday I used Sea Tools to scan for/ fix any bad sectors on the drive, also resulting in very little performance difference.
Any advice/ tips on potentially anything else i could try would be greatly appreciated as I have had this problem ever since upgrading from 7 to 8.1 and its such a pain having to ride out the waiting time every time I turn on the PC.
