Hi. My pc is stuck on the booting screen forever. The issue has been lasting for 6 months and I wasnt able to access my computer. I tried making a recovery usb from my emergency pc. And I tried using refresh and reset windows. But it got stuck on the please wait screen. I tried using restore from a previous backup, but it freezed after I clicked something. I also tried chkdsk /r /x /f, but it also didnt work. I tried everything but it did not work either. I have a windows 8.1 serial key, but I dont have enough storage cd or a usb for that. This is quite serious, so please help me. I will be quite thankful. Thanks!

P.S. My laptop model is Vaio fit 15E.

sorry for my grammar.

Your HDD/mobo could be damaged. Try to boot from a USB/CD. You can use the Win8 installation disk, for example. Or a Linux Live CD/USB. You just want to know if your PC can boot from something.

It stop on Loading screen and does nothing, like not even operating with HDD ?
Does it restart or it just stops on loading screen ?
Did you tried to boot into safe mode without networking, or boot with disabling Malware check ?
Did you reset your bios accidentally ?
Try to change Sata mode from bios, if its AHCI try with IDE or vice versa.

I installed linux.

The booting animation moves, but it does not boot.
I cannot try safe mode. Doesnt work.
Did not reset my bios

And can you boot on linux?

Yes, I can.

I don't know how to format my hard drive. I cant disassemble it. Also, I get a black screen when I boot from a recovery usb. I tried making a windows 8.1 usb drive, but it does not boot. The animation moves, but will not boot.
