Hello,

I want to upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10. My question is: do i lose any of my programs already installed (i have many applications and many games installed - i have 2 TB of space and 120gb SSD where the windows is installed).

If i update to windows 10 from windows 8.1 and not clean installing, do i get any errors or malfunctions of the system (like..the new windows won't see my 2 hdds or other issues)?

I appreciate any answer, because i wouldn't want to upgrade and then lose my current data. The reason for i want to update to windows 10 is to be able to play dx12 games.

Thank you!
Kind regards

1) NO. just select to keep applications and data.

2) NO. should not get any errors. Can't absolutely say no, but not likely.

Other:
*Create a backup IMAGE of your SSD and store it on your hard drive prior to attempting. Acronis True Image Free for WD, DiscWizard Free for Seagate. There is a W8 backup I guess but I've never used it.
