Hello guys again, I've been having this problem for quite some time but I keep restoring it to a point I saved it at "A Restore Point". So what usually happens is I get a update, I haven't checked what update it is but every time I install the update it gives me a black screen and cursor when I should have to log in, this has only happened for this specific update, I'm not sure if it's because I'm using a theme for windows 8.1 that might be a problem, I'll give you my specs just incase it is a hardware issue/graphics issue.

CPU ~ Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-4440s Cpu @ 2.80 GHZ
GPU ~ Gtx 750ti SC
RAM 8GB

If you guys could help me, I would appreciate it, thanks!!!!

Solution
when microsoft updates your graphics adapter you will need to reboot and they put out a update and did not require the reboot.
(lots of people don't do a restart or shutdown and just let the system sleep. If you do this and you have a pending update and do a direct graphics driver update from the OEM you will get a blank black screen when you finally reboot. the oem graphics drivers are updated on the fly, you reboot and the pending graphics driver is installed over the top of 1 of the 3 OEM drivers you end up with a build mismatch and a blank screen. So be sure to always reboot before updating your graphics driver manually (in case of a pending install of a older version with the same file name)

you should start another thread and post your machine info.
If you can not get into BIOS or the machine shows problems while in BIOS then it would not be a windows issue. It would be a hardware problem that you have to resolve. You would have to focus on getting into BIOS.
post another thread with info on your machine.
