Hello, soon I am buying an HP Elite 8000. When I get it I will swap out the old drive with a new 3.5" drive. I was wondering if the Elite 8000 will boot from an 8.1 Pro USB Drive I'll make.
Thanks.

I recommend building a custom instead of an HP. You get more for your money.
I used to have an HP and it only lasted 9 months then the HDD failed.
Had 2 HP 500 series desktops both died in the end by BSOD, never started up again.

If you need help building a machine feel free to ask me, Ill be more than happy to

i know but you said "soon I am buying an HP Elite 8000" you didnt say you already had it

But I don't have it, I never said I did. Read properly please.

HP's useless. Either way, I've decided to use my Asus A88XM-A, Cougar Spike Case and a bunch of drives I have to build a system.
A10-7850K @ 4Ghz
Asus A88XM-A
Cougar Spike
Seagate, WD and Toshiba Drive
EVGA 430W (only temporary)
Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB @ 1600Mhz (will upgrade to 8GB)
Windows 8.1 Professional x64
Will install a 750Ti/950Ti/370X/270 later down the line. I would just get an Athlon 860K but they're not available in Australia.

Yeah, true haha. The system was only $50 but I bought the RAM for my new build with it, gladly.
