I have windows 8 OEM that has been updated to windows 8.1
I want to buy W8.1 now but which one? I dont want to spend unnecessary money.
Im getting a SSD and want to install 8.1 onto there.
What i use my computer for.
Gaming!!!
Videos
Music
Email
internet
MS office.

options (im gather it would be 8.1 or 8.1pro, but correct me if im wrong)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enterprise/products-and-technologies/windows-8-1/compare/default.aspx
There are differences in the system section like CPU sockets, Max ram Vi and VHD boot.
Dont know what would make my gaming experiences better

There is almost no difference in games between the two versions of windows the pro version of windows 8.1 is intended for a business environment as such it has a number of features which are going to be useful in an professional environment only, but aren't mega expensive and limited to the top version of windows Things like being able to join a domain , support for Virtual hard disk boots , and being able to host virtual Remote desktop.

Some enthusiasts might have use for these features , for example I setup remote desktop into my home machine from various places on and off my network by using a VPN but even I don’t need the Full FAT Enterprise edition .

Get windows 8.1 standard, unless you suddenly want to start learning about...

Get windows 8.1 standard, unless you suddenly want to start learning about corporate IT and Active directory
you won’t ever be a member of a domain with your home pc.
