Windows 8.1 won't boot?

So, I just built my first PC, and I went into UEFI and did the steps to boot Windows 8.1. For some reason it would not work.

Can someone explain the steps to do this for me, so I can try again properly?

Try turning it back into "Legacy" or "CSM". Cause I think after you install Windows 8 you tried to change the BIOS settings.
