Windows 8.1 won't log in automatically even without a password

Whenever I turn on my computer it doesn't log in to my account automatically. I always have to select my user even though it doesn't have a password. On windows 7 if I didn't have a password it would just log on straight to the desktop when I turned the computer on. I have already tried the netplwiz.exe and deselected "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" but it doesn't work. I have my account selected and I am an administrator but it still doesn't work. Even when I have a password on my account and deselect that, it still asks for my password.

How do I make it auto log in if the netplwiz doesn't work?

After you uncheck the "users must enter .." box, there's this place to type in your username and password, are you sure the username and password s you've put in there are correct? Please verify.

The username and password are both correct with and without a password.
