you'll have to modify the installation media, but it's now possible on skylake (originally it was not going to be possible) so it might be the same for kaby, just plan on win 10.
Possible yes but how stable and how will the system perform under load and stress? MS wants you to upgrade and wishes to stop supporting that Win 8 Catastrophe, although I would think they could sill make money by offering you the support for a cost and a discount on a upgrade which they do not at the moment.
