Hey all, i have a problem with my pc.I am currently running windows 7 pro 64 bit and i want to install windows 8/10 64bit on it because 2020 is the deadline for win 7 support but i have a slight problem... every time i try to boot up from the install media(different usbs, dvd drive, etc.) i get stuck on the blue windows logo(no spinning dots) and the install(i think) crashes after 2-3mins. And its really annoying because 32 bit versions install perfectly fine and say that my cpu is x64 based, wth is going on?

Things i tried:
*Setting bios boot priority to have the usb boot first
*Redownloading all isos and trying different ways to install them
*Disconnecting every hdd except the one i want to install w10 to
*Resetting CMOS(i have my cpu overclocked)

My BIOS has no uefi option, secure boot whatsoever. The usbs had a MBR partition in rufus(GPT Is not supported by my pc).i cant install it from os because i want to dual boot before i completely use w10 so i can go back if theres any instability.

Please Help :c

Just to confirm, are you using a USB 2.0 port or USB or USB 3.0?
I hear some reports it has to be a USB 2.0 drive only on a USB 2.0 port.
I also see some reports that the BIOS may need to be updated before upgrading to W10.

You will also want to remove all other HDD devices apart from the one you want to install W10 onto.
