I'm using toshiba satillite pro c650 laptop having intel core 2 duo processor and i bought it in 2010, now i,m using win8, when i,m using photoshop cs6 it is saying to enable graphics preference and i,m not able to find video card driver so plz suggest me correct driver...

Hi pavanthota,

I actually installed Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit on my cousin's HP laptop that had similar specs couple weeks ago. It runs great, better than ever actually. Only possible problem, is that you might have some issues with the wifi adapter at first if your laptop vendor didn't bother to release a windows 8.1 64 bit compatible wifi driver.

I would try the automatic detection from intel (according to cnet, your laptop would be equipped with an intel graphics adaptor). http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

Max_x2, NX Bit is the same as Execute Disable Bit. It finds malicious code in RAM, and disable it from running. Windows 8 requires SSE3 (won't be able to explain that one), NX-Bit, and PAE (Physical Address Extension, allows up to 4 GB of memory on 32-Bit). Aside from that, all 64-Bit/x64 Operating Systems require the AMD64/EMT64 (64-Bit instruction).

To correct my statement from above, your computer CAN run 6.3.9600.16385 (Windows 8.1 RTM). It has the 3 instruction from above. However, you can't run 64-Bit as your processor does not have the 64-bit instruction.

And you might like to invest in a notebook graphics card part.
