Windows 8 back to 7? (drivers)

so like many other people ive upgraded to windows 8 from the $15 promo code that i got when i bought it. Its a hp pavilion dv6-6c47cl laptop i just have got the sound drivers working but im not sure what is going on with my radeon 7690m xt. ive found some ways to get it working but none worked. they said about getting the intel one to a certain version to work with the amd and im just so confused. IVe spent atleast 8-10 hours reading forums in the past few days and i cant get my gpu to work. If anyone knows how i'd be happy to hear! Otherwise ive considered going back to windows 7 however i dont have a recovery disk can i use an iso image and still keep my old files?

So you did try the AMD catalyst mobility display driver?

It looks like that HP doesn't have any video drivers available:

I would call HP.

i recieved back from hp support on twitter i am waiting for them to read my problem if they dont respond ill either call or forum post on their or email them, looks like thats all i can do for now 🙁
