I have a HP Envy Laptop which I bought a few weeks ago.
Its Windows 8,
Config: i7 4700/24GB MSSD/8GB Ram/ Nvidia GT 740
It started to behave abnormally this week,
Initially whenever I used to boot up, it would take me to the first time install screen(after logging in). The screen saying 'Hi' and then wait till we set up your windows etc. It would usually end up on the metro screen with just my name on top right and no apps displayed. A restart solved the problem.
I then went on to turn of the metro screen to verify if this problem gets solved or not, sadly it didn't . Now sometimes it comes to log in screen and gives the same problem, only this time it says please wait at the spot where the password is typed. Again rebooting solves the problem.

Sometimes I even get a completely blank screen. Again after rebooting, it seems as if nothing ever happened.

Can someone help please, as it makes no sense. Rebooting always solves the problem and then the Laptop acts normal.

Thank you for your help.
