Windows 8 camera upside down ASUS

Hello,
I have the same camera issue! It's upside down and my microphone doesn't work at all. But my speakers does work (I can listen to the music and can hear the people in Skype, but they can't here me and I'm upside down -.-)

Hope a solution will be found very soon.

I have the same problema with the camera. I fixed the mic issue dowloading the new drivers, now i work fine.

And where can i find these drivers ?!?
I can't find windows 8 drivers on the Asus website.

ManyCam fixed my camera problem with my Asus K601 in Windows 8 application and desktop. http://download.cnet.com/ManyCam/3000-2348_4-10593500.html#editorsreview

Be careful when downloading to uncheck the Ask Toolbar and Ask default browser and other unneeded installations that you may get by default. (I got Ask Toolbar anyway but was able to disable it in the browser)

Allowing ManyCam to start with Windows also allowed me to invert the picture for the Windows 8 app as well as for the desktop versions of Skype. Desktop version needed to be rotated, but Windows 8 app needed to be flipped to keep left and right correct instead of a mirror image.

I have no problem with the built in microphone - Skype seems to adjust it just fine even when it is disabled in the sound control panel. A new sound control is now there for ManyCam, so maybe that will fix your sound problem as well.

I was having same issue on my ASUS N53S Laptop with windows 8.1 64bit

After searching the internet it suggested different drivers and apps, but nothing worked. except following particular driver:

Hardware ID was:
USB\VID_13D3&PID_5122&REV_0202&MI_00
USB\VID_13D3&PID_5122&MI_00

This is what i did:

1. uninstalled the device from Device manager. " Imaging Devices\USB2.0 UVC 2M WebCam".
2. reinstalled it after searching in device manager

How to install/uninstall a device:

3. installed this driver:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Camera&p=3&ft=28&os=30#Camera_Azurewave_2S002_CR_Win7_64_z5854000206.zip

4. Restarted the laptop.
