Windows 8 Compatibility

I have a computer with Windows 8 and was considering purchasing a game off of Amazon that supported Windows Vista. Will it work on my PC? And will games that support XP and Windows 7 also work on Windows 8?

No...IF IT DOESNT SAY 8 it wont work , usually..
