windows 8 (consumer Preview) black flickering screen after updating drivers/ automatic repair not launching

I updated the drivers of my desktop computer and, since then, my computer has been failling to startup. When it gets to the screen in which you swipe upwards, the screen turns black and I cant do anything. This is the 2nd time it has happened to me and last time, after MANY restarts, it finally launched the automatic repair engine. This time, the same error has been occuring to me, and I am looking for help to make my system launch automatic repair. How can I fix this error? If you need, I will post a video showing the problem happen. Another big problem is that normally, windows 8 would launch the recovery menu. Windows 8 consumer preview does not have such menu.

If you can get it running try System File Checker
Winkey plus 'X'
Choose Command Prompt (Admin)
Type sfc /scannow then Enter
If not you will need to boot your machine from a Windows Repair disk or Installation disk to access Troubleshoot/Advanced options, where you can try to restore your system to a date prior to the Driver update
