Windows 8 disconnecting from the internet?

I got a new computer, it's windows 8. A week after I bought it it started disconnecting from the internet. Sometimes it would just get really really slow, to the point where it's not even possible to use. I have hamachi installed and I wasn't sure if that was the problem. My hamachi glitches out and I have to re-install it too a lot. I'm pretty mad that my new computer is already having problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds a bit like the drive you are booting from may be faulty. Does the slowness only appear once Windows has loaded? Or does it take a really long time to boot up as well?
