Windows 8 is not detecting usb bluetooth dongle, not even in device manager

I have buy a ranz bluetooth usb dongle.... it says it works upto window 7 but i have windows 8
i contacted the seller and he says that it will only work upto windows 7 . so i want to know how to fix this..... i take a look at device manager and this dongle is not even showing up there...... i have not tried this on any windows 7 computer .... how can i use it in my windows 8...... please explain me how to do it or give me any link

sorry, but this doesn't fix the problem........
i cannot find any drivers for this bluetooth dongle......
and it is not even coming up in device manager
