Windows 8 Offline

I have been using Windows 8 for a long time now. But one random day awhile ago, all of my Windows 8 apps and various Windows features stop connecting to the internet. I never changed any settings on my computer, and the problem persists no matter what internet connection I use, even if I plug in an Ethernet cable. Any idea whats going on? I'm trying to update to Windows 8.1, but every download link I use brings me to the Windows Store app, which then tells me I'm offline.

Hi,

Check your firewall. Any problem with the firewall settings can cause this issue.

I tried temporarily turning off Windows Firewall completely, but that didn't change anything. I never messed with Firewall settings, so I don't know why that would suddenly be causing issues with Windows 8.

Otherwise , try re-connecting the network once again and reset your Microsoft Account password and check it.

Tried your suggestions to no avail.
