windows 8 or 7

i have no idea which one to get i have been debating for a while now everyone seems to think windows 7 is all around better and that windows 8 is not good and has worse reviews but they are coming out with windows 8.1 which could improve upon it? any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated im going to be starting my 1st gaming computer build and this is just one of the things i'm stuck on thx!!!

Go with 8 for sure. It's not as bad as everyone says. People like to complain just to complain, especially when others are complaining.

8 is going to be more future proof and is actually a very good operating system. 8.1 is even better.

just stay up to date install windows 8 that is best
