Windows 8 or 8.1 vs. Windows 7 for laptop gaming

Solution
first of all there is no need of 8 as 8.1 is the more "upgraded" version of 8,Talking about what's best for laptop gaming.. Windows 8.1 may not please you as for UI "if you're MetroPhobic" but IT DOES certainly feel more Lightweight than 7 especially in boot times considering MS's tweaks to the Kernel and considering that you're on a laptop 😛 so ofcourse you need faster booting OTHER THAN THAT Windows 7 is more "OldSchool" one and has the old aged "Desktop" version of Vista and XP..so in the end your choice Plus don't forget that with Windows 8.1 you will get all the latest incoming updates which are certainly promising :)

What kind of issues? I haven't heard any complaints like that.

If there are any issues it is most likely driver issues that should be resolved as updated versions are made. Generally if it runs on 7 it will run on 8/8.1. I think I have had a grand total of 1 game that I havent gotten to work on 8, and that's because I'm to lazy to google the fix for it

guys all the problem about windows 8.1 is the copy of system don't include .Net Framework that's why all the programs got some issues with this system so install it and evrything will go fine
