I have a built in recovery partition of windows 8 in the hard drive , and I face some problem with the current OS , so I want to Refresh my Laptop ,
My questions are : If there any thing happen while the the system is refreshing and the process is stop for any reason I will lose my OS after restart ? or will start as there is no refresh happen .
As I have a recovery partition built in so there is no external recovery disc will be needed while refreshing .
Thanks in advance

Hello... a Winter cleaning is a good idea too B ) if you Download and internet a lot... nothings runs as good as a Fresh install of Windows.
Hello... an "OEM recovery" could remove all your Personal digital data and hardwork... so back that stuff up first on USB/DVD...
Do you want too just reload the OS files to factory shipped Version? for example no installed update OS version... there is a Windows Tool/APP to do this without writing over/removing your exisiting programs and files.

Yes, I want to reload the OS files factory shipped version.
But I need to know if it will require any supported dvd , I have a built in recovery partition only ( I have no recovery DVD ).

Hello... OK... Go to your Brand website and get their instruction then... since you have your Recovery OS on the HD then... this would be fastest... Typically you will need to Find the F-key to interrupt the OS booting and start the APP... and making a DVD might be required and having a backup would be good advice for the future.
...But I just wanted to Warn you that there are different options and results from them... I will post some Windows options and instructions for some brain food.

We could use Windows methods here too I believe...

That recovery partition should allow you to create your own DVD factory reset disk(s). I would suggest doing that before you proceed. Just in case.
