I recently had to reset my computer back to factory settings, and when windows reinstalled, it didn't install the usb drivers, as I only can use usb keyboards and mice with my tower, not having either doesn't let me setup windows 8 to install the drivers, I've gone through every solution that I know of to no avail, any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Does you BIOS contain something like "Legay USB Support"? In the BIOS of my (older) PC if I have that disabled the PC won´t recognize keyboards or mouse that are connected using USB before Windows is fully loaded. The reason was that for older PC´s a keyboard was expected to hang on a PS2 cord.

Thank you for replying however, I am not very computer savvy so this information doesn't do much for me as I know that the usb drives are there and are functional as in the boot menu and the like my mouse, and keyboard both work fine, however when it pulls up to the windows register screen ("Let's get started select country time zone ect") the mouse, and keyboard both cease to function and I am forced to restart the computer for it to just come up to the same screen again, I have reset and reinstalled windows twice.
