I have had a problem with windows 8 or my computer I don't know which one is causing it but whenever I shut down my computer then turn it on the next time I want to use it after 10 minutes it will restart with a random error code that's different every time I'm pretty sure. This time though I'm stuck where my computer just had no signal to my monitor and I switched the switch on my power supply off and on. Now I'm some sort of loop where it goes to diagnosing my PC then to a screen where I choose how I want to proceed by refreshing my PC, restarting it which deletes all the files, command prompt, system restore, etc. So when I click refresh my PC or restore it an earlier time it just goes back to diagnosing my PC and then to that screen again. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get this to work and what's wrong with my computer. I don't really want to delete all the files on my computer.

Solution
I believe most experiencing this problem end up re-installing Windows. Some have had success by running System Repair from the Installation disk, try that if you have one. Meanwhile post details of your PC...it often helps...

For details do you want like specs? Also when I press reset and put in my windows 8 disk my computer doesn't recognize it and says it's not valid.
