I turned on my computer this morning, and as i logged in onto the desktop it displayed the "first time login slides" when it logged onto the desktop, non of my files was there and windows told me that it couldn´t access the files. At this moment i was worried that my harddrives were broken, but as it turned out i restarted ad everything worked fine. What happened? Should i change out my harddrive?

I have also been running a lot of GTA V lately, and have noticed that it crashes a lot on me.

My system:
MB: Asus z77 maximus v formula
CPU: Intel i5 3450
Cooler: Corsair H40
GPU: MSI geforce GTX 970 4G Gaming
RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB 1600mhz
Main HDD: Seagate Barrecuda 1 TB
Secondary HDD: WD blue 1TB
Case: CM cosmos midtower

Hi there SabertoothFlux,

Can you access your data? If so, the first thing you should do is to back up the most important data that is on the drive.
After that, you can test it with some brand specific testing tool. In case the results show that there is something wrong with the drive, I would say that you need to change it as it will be unreliable. You can RMA it if still under warranty.
In case the results show that the HDD is fine, then it may be a good idea to double check your connections: change both SATA and power cables as well as connect the drive to another SATA port.

Hope this will help,
