Windows 8 update causing blue screen on startup

Windows update is causing blue screens on windows 8.1 computers. Has anyone been able to find out which update is the culprit?

If you can boot to safe mode then windows will install the update correctly and move on, but I need to know which update is causing the problem, so It can be blocked on another system.

the BSOD error would greatly help here. it could be a program running on the PC's that prevents the update from installing

I was able to get the memory dump, and run it through windbg. the error code is 0x80070057.
