with the new windows 10 coming out do it matter
on what type of windows 8 you have or do it matter
if you have windows 8 at all & will windows 10 be
a dvd software or just a software update from the
download center

Currently, Windows 10 is just a Tech Preview. Beta software for testing and so MS can see what users like and dislike about it.

Final release not until well into 2015.
Moving to the final release of Win10 will probably not be just an update in the Store.

But as that release date is months away, we out here do not know.

There is rumour that Windows 10 will be made available for free to Windows 8 users, but that is just rumour at this stage. I feel it is safe to assume that it will be released for retail purchase on DVD and if the rumours are true, a version will be made available online for people to upgrade... but as stated above, all of this is speculation until it is actually released
