Windows 8 vs Pc Manafacturers Win8

Hi all, I'm having a problem with my desktop and looking at buying a windows 8 disc to remove the he current pc manufacturers windows 8 pre-installed and for it to discard all programs added and running by the manufacturer, is it possible this outcome will happen? The pc manufacturers programs are having too much sway over my system and since its been stripped via windows 8 reset nothing has worked properly since because of the programs. I'm wondering if a clean slate of windows 8 will resolve it and allow me to run what I want and control what I want instead of it being dictated too.

I hear what you saying.. I to hate all the manufacturers bloat ware they put on.. you don't mention the brand.. and I guess some are better than others.. but when I get a new PC.. I always do a clean "pure" windows install..
But im probably a bit overzealous.. You should be ok to do a factory reinstall and then just uninstall all the manufacturer's stuff. They usually allow a clean uninstall...and will save you the trouble of finding a Win 8 ISO.. and then potentially getting your manufacturer's drivers etc if they have special hardware....
