Hey Guys,
I just successfully installed my Windows 8 OS from my new ASUS CM6870-US015S desktop into my Samsung 840 Pro SSD using Paragon's Migrate OS to SSD 4.0 software (by the way, Paragon works great, avoid AOMEI) via USB. SSD has no partition.

My question is this:
What should be my boot priority? I remember a long time ago that my boot priority started 1st with my CD then my HD 2nd. When I install my new SSD, shouldn't my priority be:

A:
1) CD/DVD (In the event that my SSD fails, then I have my recovery DVD).
2) Boot off Flash Drive
3) HD
3) SSD

OR

B:
1) SSD 1st?
2) HD
3) CD/DVD .,,,
4) Flash Drive,,,,

Or do you guys have a different idea?

Thanks

I usually do just SSD. I never have boot from CD or DVD because I tend to leave my DVDs in the drive and when I boot it up it can cause a boot error, tiny annoyance, for some rigs. If you plan to boot from flash drive or CD/DVD you can always just click F12 or w/e your Boot menu key is on the bios to boot from said device. This shouldnt be a problem, how often do you boot from a CD or Flash drive?
