I have just installed windows 8 onto my ssd but my secondary hard drive is not showing up.
It is showing in the BIOS but not in windows itself. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
if you go to the control panel, admin tools, disk management, does it show up in there? it might need to be initialized.
The drive does show up in disk management, but says unallocated. In a similar thread the person was recommended to format the drive but i looked for that option and I could't find it.
You should be able to Right click the bar where it says 'Unallocated' and choose 'New Simple Volume'...
