Windows 95 Game troubleshooting

For a Windows 95 game I am trying to play, I have Windows 98 OS running in a Virtual PC. The game is installed, but it requires to be in 256 colors and in 320x240 resolution. My problem is not being able to set my res lower than 640x480 in the '98 OS. The game is the first Twisted Metal. Thanks!

You don't need to mess up with virtual machines. Download DOSBox, and run old games from it.
