Help!

I’m trying to install Windows 95 on my old dell computer

Specs: 256mb ram, 160gb hard drive, 2.8ghz pentium 4,

I installed everything correctly, I know that if my cpu speed is greater than 2.1ghz I’ll need to use a floppy disk with a windows 95 CPU fix patch, I’ve done that already tho. after the first reboot the setup does, everything’s fine, it’s just that when setup does the second reboot, it goes to msdos and sais “completed updating files, continuing to load windows...” and then it freezes and restarts and does it again, it goes in an endless loop and I don’t know what to do. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

Please reply quickly!!!

how big is the OS partition on the drive? things can get wonky if its larger than 8GB.

I posted that link earlier. to make sure you got the guide that i know works, that is all.

Yea well like i said i already did the fix for the 2.1 ghz CPU, but that's not the problem, the problem is that setup does two restarts, the first one is fine, but the second one freezes at the ms dos prompt and goes into a loop and wont boot into windows
