Windows 98 MS-DOS Games No Sound

Sound not working in MS-DOS games. Works only in Windows games. I have Fujitsu Siemens AMILO M7400.

Find the main Batch file . BAT and edit it, if it has the sound card settings within the file.

Or look for the sound card.ini file to edit.

Or a .ini file named creative.

You will have to set the, irq number, and the I/O data value plus some other settings.

It helps to know what sound chip, or add in sound card via a pci card slot is in the system.

This laptop support only Windows 2000 and XP. I found GPU and Sound Driver on Google. I have CS4299 Cirrus Logic sound card. Maybe this sound card doesn't support MS-DOS.

It might be possible to setup generick Sound Blaster 16 drivers for it.
