Hello all,
I'm looking for a screensaver that was on a Compaq Presario 3550. The computer was running Windows 98 First Edition, and essentially, the screensaver displayed the text "Where do you want to go today?" and then displayed an image of a field or something. (Field is my best guess, could be something else.) I'm pretty sure it was either scrolly text like the marquee screensaver, or in faded in at the center of the screen. (my best bet is on the latter)

Thanks,

Partnership. My first PC back in 1998 had a Windows/Dell screensaver. Compaq merged with HP about 15 years ago. Maybe an email to them would prove fruitful.
yeah, not those, or any combination of the settings. maybe it's a first-edition only thing. i will look on a first edition cd. i have 98 SE on it now.

I was thinking that, and hoping not, because i have no way of getting the original files. (the quick-restore CD only launched the program on the recovery partition of the original hard drive, which is NWTBF.)

but why would a Compaq screensaver have the micro soft slogan on it?
