I have old Pentium 3 computer with Sound Blaster. Problem is i don't have sound in some games in Windows 98 SE. I used integrated sound card before i bought SB. Should i format Windows?

Game show: "No Sound".

In Windows XP sound works in the same game but this game is made for Windows 9x and it doesn't work in Windows XP without Windows 98 Compatibility.

The SB PCI 128 based on Ensoniq chips are fickle - audio acceleration was enabled by default on Windows 9x but disabled on Win2k/XP - and for a good reason, virtual IRQs had a tendency to screw them up. Win98 didn't deal with virtual IRQs too often, but that OS had a tendency to not reaffect resources when plugging new hardware in.
For example, you'd have your newly installed sound card trying to use IRQ 11, which was originally mapped to an IDE channel; while some devices could share IRQs, Win98 would often not detect them properly after the initial install.
