Windows 98 sound not working

Help! The other day it was working but after I installed a network card, My sound doesn't work anymore! I am running Windows 98 SE.

You might have dislodged the sound card, so open up your PC again and remove and reinstall the sound card.

In case that does not work, are your sound and network cards both plug and play? If not you might have an IRQ conflict.
