Windows 98 upgrade to windows 7 knowldege?

hello, I have 3 computers that I want to upgrade to windows 7. window me, windows 98 and windows xp. I would like all of them to be the same program. Could you tell me if & which program would be right for me. I dont want to purchase 3 different programs... home, ultimate, etc. any and all knowledge on these 3 computers would b appreciated. thank you

If one is running ME and the other is running 98, then they're probably very old and not supported by 7.

Before you start anything, check out all three computers. To run Windows 7 (32bit) you will need to at least have 1GB of RAM in each machine. It also uses a lot of hard drive space. For breathing room, you will need at least 80Gb on each machine because the Windows install is much bigger than 98,ME and XP. Windows 7 will likely take up 10GB or more of space on your hard drives. Also, even if the machines meet the minimum requirements, it will probably be best for you to run home edition. Professional and Ultimate will require more CPU time and RAM because they have more processes running than the home version.

Also note, the tool might only work on the XP machine. Because 90% of Windows 98 and ME machines do not meet the minimum anyways. (not enough RAM memory, and slower CPU)
