I keep getting the "Automatic repair" at boot time and then it diagnoses and later it says it failed.

I've checked several forums now regarding this error, I've tred the following :

1. I tried setting the recoveryenabled to No in using bcdedit. No use.

2. Tried rebulding bcd, No use.

3. Tried resetting by choosing "keep my files" option{Because they are important and I've several programs installed which i don't want to lose).

4. I did chdsk on all drives.

5. Even though I've restore points, it says no restore points found.

If Windows 10 was successfully upgraded to, and activated online, then you can safely perform a fresh install of Windows 10 by creating installation media through the Windows media creation tool:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

This is the most foolproof way of solving software issues in general. As long as you do not format the drive, you will not experience data loss.
