[SOLVED] Windows can’t find file even though it’s right there. Please help!!!

I have a windows 10 PC and whenever I try and open origin it gives me the following error message:

“Windows cannot find “C:/program files (x86)/origin/origin.exe” Please make sure you typed the name correctly and try again”

As you can se the file is right there so I don’t know what the problem is.

Things I’ve tried:
Renaming it, if you rename it it opens
Other than that I have not tried anything else, any help is appreciated (;

So, if you rename origin.exe, then you don't get the error message?

I was able to fix it that top post helped I uninstalled a program called “Avast Cleanup Pro” by deleting it directly from c: and it left some registry files where that location was and I deleted them and it works now.

Good old Avast, never had anything but problems with that POS

if you are going to install Antivirus/Firewall, I would recommend COMODO (free and good) along with Glasswire
