Question Windows cannot boot

So i have manually installed windows on an external hard drive and a few days ago the drive fell.
Now when i try to boot up Windows i get a bsod with critical process error, I have a usb for live ubuntu and i can access all the files from that drive fine. How can i fix this

  1. Why on an external?
  2. How did you do this install on the external?
  3. After the fall, it would appear that the drive is corrupted, or at least parts of it. Reinstall.

  1. Because my internal hard drive stopped working, and i can't buy another right now
  2. I manually created the windows partitions and copied from the windows 10 iso to install from the recovery environment cmd. I can't find the article rn
