Windows Corrupt files?

I have the download version of Windows 8.1 and lack a optical Drive

I have a legit copy from microsoft store ;].

I have had it for about a year.

I can create a recovery drive on a USB and all that but is there a simpler way to fix it?

i think that will be the best way if the os file are corrupt to do a file repair .
